About Us

We met in Rapid City, South Dakota in Spring of 2021. I had moved back to my hometown during the spring of 2020 and Stephen had moved there from West Virginia the week we met. What we connected with right away was our mutual love for the outdoors. We both enjoy hiking, running, and going on bike rides. He kicks my butt every single time, but it is still always fun.

I was part of a package deal when we met, and my dating profile included “must love dogs”. My big boy Owen is a lab/mastiff mix. He turned 5 this year (2023) and has had as many adventures with us as possible. He will be a highlight on this blog because he is such a good boy!

I had started this blog several months before meeting Stephen, and he was the best surprise ever! Here are a several adventures that we have taken together.

Biked to Harpers Ferry on the C&O cannel – March 2023
